happy hour specials are good. it's always quite loud. was very busy so took a while for our food. when one of our dishes was mistakenly taken to another table they took it off our bill as we had to wait for a new one to be made, meanwhile we ate the rest of our dishes. tldr; good food, good drink, very loud. 3 1/2 stars (but it won't let me do 1/2 stars)

I am always a fan of Cactus Club cafe! Every time I visit Canada I always make sure to come here, and this location in Victoria definitely did not disappoint! They have the best Sunday deals for drinks too! Yum.

Stopped by a happy hour. Sweet potato fries and and house wine we're very good. Terrified fries were great as well. Highly recommend!

I always have a great experience here. Came for my birthday party and wanted to give a special thanks to our server Colin for being so friendly and attentive, not to mention the speedy service on a Saturday night! Amazing staff, great happy hour deals, AND I got free dessert!

Went here with the girls for a Friday night dinner but obviously it was especially busy! Nav at the front kept us great company while we waited to be seated. Never seen that at restaurants before! Amazing staff!

Great service.Food was delicious. Drinks were tasty.Price , OVER the top expensive.Happy hour 9 oz glass of red wine $14.50 regular price $22.00. The only choice of red wine on the happy hour menu.Two drinks, a flat bread and 2 entrees from the Happy Hour selection (which is pretty decent, food wise) and the bill was $84.00.A bit on the noisy side but not horrific.

Had just had horrible service at another restaurant. Walked in and was greeted and seated right away. Amazing waiter and food was delicious.

Interesting restaurant. Seating was quick, but hostess was rude. Waitress had excellent manors and made up for the hostess. Quick service, during a busy, late lunch crowd. Excellent food and portion size, we did not leave hungry. Definitely recommend the cheddar on the chicken sandwich. Nice presentation on the salads. We will probably frequent again.

Came with a group and it was very busy . We had Victoria as a server and she was outstanding ! Went out of her way to explain the menu and was so friendly . I would recommend cactus and Victoria as a server any day. Grade A in every aspect! Thank you Cactus for another great experience !

I really loved this place, and not just because the salmon was delicious, and I mean it was reeeaaally good, but the atmosphere is hip yet casual. Jeans or a sport jacket would work equally well.

Beverages were tasty and the ahi stack was delish!

Conor L was an awesome server. Wasn't really expecting much since it's a chain restaurant but he was super nice and a great server. Will definitely be back! Also the panko chicken strips were super good and happy hour is a great deal.

Steak was juicy. Mash was creamy. Salad was crunchy. This dish was better than the other cactus clubs I've tried in the mainland. And service was great and done with a smile everytime.

My husband and I stopped by the cactus club for happy hour. The food was good and the service was great. Our server, Alexandria, was warm and friendly greeting us with a welcoming smile and a charming and efficient presence. She is an asset for any company. We live in Ashland Oregon where the economy is built upon entertainment and fine dining. The bar is very high and restaurant owners depend upon a skilled staff. I appreciate good service and I imagine you do as well. I was a little put off by the phone message to book on line. Too impersonally delivered for my taste.

Never fails the food is always amazing service is always phenomenal drinks are always great. I moved to America but everytime I come to Victoria I make sure I come to the Cactus Club Cafe and I'll always come back, my only sad part is they got rid of the Tuna Tataki which I absolutely love but they do have a Tuna stack now which is great. We will keep coming back and highly recommend the Cactus Club you won't be disappointed. And the waitress Sam is an absolute gem so friendly and funny beautiful as well.

Your average chain restaurant, with tons of tables, and a large menu to choose among many dishes. Food quality is also average, and service is just fine. Overall, food seems a bit overprice for what you get and where you are. It is a good option to accommodate large groups of people though

Was recommended the Tuna Stack by a reputable employee, claiming it to be a 10/10 dish. Her praise did not disappoint!

The wait was a little long but expected on a Saturday night. My fiancé and I went to celebrate our engagement we are from the states and visiting Victoria on holiday, the manager was very nice and surprised us with dessert. Food was delicious, the butternut squash ravioli and spaghetti with meatballs was amazing. Will come back when we visit Canada again!

Great atmosphere & awesome food. The staff are friendly. There was an issue with one of the meals at our table and it ended up being late. They compensated and took it off our bill. Will definitely be going back!

This is one of those rare restaurants where everything on your plate has a unique and fantastic taste. We had to pass food between us because it all tasted so good. Best restaurant I have been to in a while. Great service, very reasonable prices. Six stars!

Came here to celebrate our friend Kamryn’s birthday and we had an amazing experience!! Alexis was our server and she was an absolute angel. She was personable, attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our friend had a lovely dinner. Definitely going to come back and ask for her!!!

Their happy hour menu is great (3-6pm & 9pm- closing). Great prices on popular drinks and menu items.

We have been frequenting this restaurant for years. Atmosphere is always good mind you music is loud which if fine. It is clean and reasonable. Recently the food has moved from moderately sweet to very sweet, perhaps appeals to millennial. Majority of dishes are sweet.

Bartender Brett .. just the best. Great spot to hang out at the bar watching the game. Thanks for the great night Brett and Cactus club!

Collin V absolutely made our night. Going dt to the chippys was unreal thanks to his hilarious demeanor and beauty status. Almost didn’t get let in thank to the manager, but after we were seated Collin made sure we had a great experience, If you go I hope he serves you. Cheers
